Christa Van Wessem
Veterinary Surgeon
Christa graduated from Utrecht University in the Netherlands in 2002. After working several years in small animal and equine practice in the Netherlands she moved to the UK in 2009 to read a Master’s degree and to settle in South West England. After working in wildlife rehabilitation and whilst working as a zoo veterinarian, Christa joined the Milestone team in 2014, initially doing mainly Saturday shifts. More recently, Christa generally is found at the Kingsteignton branch 3 days per week. She enjoys working with birds and reptiles. Outside work she loves travelling and hiking (with her lurcher Tigg)
