Janet grew up in Kent and has always enjoyed having pets as a child. Janet encouraged Charlie through his long veterinary training when they met at University. They married and moved to Charlies home county of Devon where they now have three lively children and a menagerie of pets including Basil the border terrier, Jess, Isaac & Cosy the cats and Ginger & Blackie the Guinie-pigs. Janet has had a varied career as a teacher and midwife and is now enjoying life behind the scenes in the office at Milestone Vets.

Sue grew up in South Wales, graduating in Hotel & Catering, before embarking on a career in hospitality management, that would take her across the UK. In 2007,  Sue and her husband took the decision to relocate from Sussex to beautiful South Devon with their three lively children...... She has embraced Devon Life, and is already a veteran of the River Teign rowing club.  When not working Sue keeps herself  busy  looking after her family including her  very bouncy Springer Spaniel, Murphy and her two elderly Birman cats.

.Tam started out her working life in the arts sector, gaining a BA hon Ceramic degree.  She then worked in retail management for 15 years before deciding on a career change and coming to work with us at Milestone Veterinary Centre.  At home she has 3 cats including Benji who has only one eye.

Kate joined us after many years at a local opticians. Born and bred in Newton
Abbot she lives with her husband and a menagerie of pets including 3 tortoises,5
indian runner ducks,2 leopard geckos, a bearded dragon and the new addition Henri
the french bulldog. This love of animals is what prompted the change of career.

Helen is from Yorkshire and moved to Devon 18 months ago when her husband
relocated jobs. She started her career in teaching 20 years ago and has
recently made the transition to working with her other passion - animals.
She grew up with a variety of pets - dogs, cats, bunnies and hamsters. She
currently has three dogs - all crazy in their own special way.


Francesca is originally from Yorkshire but has been settled in Devon since 2012.  She has a degree in hotel management from Huddersfield and has worked in hospitality before joining the veterinary world.  Francesca has always loved animals growing up with dogs and cats on a smallholding.  Francesca has a young son at home and enjoys travelling.

Originally from Surrey Jenny relocated to Devon 35 years ago.  She worked as a Special Needs Teaching Assistant and then trained and qualified as a Pharmacy Dispenser for the NHS.  Jenny’s love of animals shines through and has had cats, chickens and goats in the past.  Today she has a cat called Nelson and has just adopted a kitten called Macey Grey.  She enjoys travelling, cooking and exploring the local countryside.
