Marie

Marie graduated from Plymouth University with a Honours Degree in Animal Science and has been working in the Veterinary profession since 2010. She then qualified as Veterinary Nurse in 2015. She is especially interested in the care of patients, feline behaviour and nursing. At home Marie has a collection of animals that keep her busy, including her two Arab horses which she enjoys exploring the countryside with, and a very spoilt house-cat called Binx. In her spare time she is most often found at the stables with her very understanding husband.

Ashton

Ashton has a level 2 qualification in animal care and is currently studying for her Animal Nursing Assistant qualification. At home she has a bearded dragon called, Tyson, Louie a King Charles Cavalier, Rolo a Jack Russell cross Lakeland Terrier and four chinchill's: Bob, Marley, Rosie and Millie. Outside of work she plays darts for Devon Youth.  

Emma began working with us in January 2016. She completed a level three diploma in animal management at Bicton college and is looking forward to begin training as a veterinary nurse. At home she has an ex police dog and a budgerigar.

Elaine has been qualified for 5 yrs. Her main interests are anaesthesia and wound management.
Outside of work she enjoys walking on Dartmoor, photography and attending to her allotment and garden. At home Elaine has her cat Jem and her leopard gecko called Gertie.

Hanna started at Milestone Vets as Work Experience in April 2016 while studying Animal Nursing Assistant at South Devon College. Have always wanted to work with animals and previously worked with rescue dogs. After work experience Hanna started working along side the Nursing team and Reception staff.  Has 3 dogs and a Bearded Dragon at home and hope to study Veterinary Nursing in the future.

Liza
Head Veterinary Nurse

Liza has always had a passion for animals, working from a young age in animal rescue centres and kennels.  Liza qualified as a Veterinary nurse in Reading in 2003.  Her special interests are patient care, working with clients to give their pets the best life possible.  Liza moved back to the Southwest to be close to friends and family.  At home, Liza has a young son who plays rugby for the Exeter Chiefs and her lovely 12 year old ginger cat, Jasmine, that she reared from 3 weeks old.

Danielle
Veterinary Care Assistant

Danielle has joined the team at Milestone in July 2018 as a Veterinary Care Assistant. She is passionate about animals and animal nutrition and hopes to further her knowledge whilst in the position. At home she has 3 Rabbits named Inky, Blinky & Kirby and a rescue cat called Phoenix.

Aimee started at Milestone in July 2018. She loves all animals especially
an old feisty cat. She hopes to complete her veterinary nurse training
whilst in the practice.  She lives with her boyfriend and has a
tortoiseshell cat called Princess Tiger Lilly who she hand reared and a
crazy springer called Mr Seamus.

Emily

Emily started wrong at Milestone in 2013, whilst at Teign School. She is now attending Exeter College and still works part-time. Emily has 2 cats and dogs called Maisie. Emily enjoys working with the animals and particularly likes French bulldogs.

Veterniary Nurse

Kayleigh qualified as a RVN in 2011. She grew up on the beach in Cornwall and she knew she wanted to be a Vet Nurse for as long as she can remember.  Kayleigh spent every spare second volunteering at her local rescue rehabilitating all animals but especially taming and training wild horses.  Kayleigh has an interest in anything cat, especially their behavior and nutrition and has done several courses in feline care. She is often found hand rearing orphan kittens. She has previously worked for a veterinary practice that specialized in "small furries " and Kayleigh intends to further her education in exotic care.  
In her spare time Kayleigh loves riding horses, particularly ones with attitude, and loves cross country.  She lives with her very patient boyfriend and her two beautiful cats, Colin and Hermione.
