Kelly

Kelly joined the team in early 2015 having moved from Dorset where she has worked in a variety of vet practices and for a wildlife sanctuary.  She has a diploma in animal management.  Kelly enjoys performing nurse clinics and inpatient care. Outside of work Kelly has 2 dogs, a border collie called Molly-Anne, a chug called Indie and 3 cats.  She also has an interest in bike riding. Kelly loves hand rearing and fostering and taking her dogs to the beach.

Ashton

Ashton has a level 2 qualification in animal care and is currently studying for her Animal Nursing Assistant qualification. At home she has a bearded dragon called, Tyson, Louie a King Charles Cavalier, Rolo a Jack Russell cross Lakeland Terrier and four chinchill's: Bob, Marley, Rosie and Millie. Outside of work she plays darts for Devon Youth.  

Abby qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in 2014 and has particular interests in inpatient care, feline behaviour and wildlife and exotic nursing.  After working in South Africa helping with wildlife rehabilitation and helping to raise an orphan rhino calf, Abby is now an avid fundraiser for Save the Rhino International charity and runs marathons and organises fundraising events for them. At home, Abby has a family of slightly broken animals including a bullmastiff husky cross and a labrador, 2 cats and a tortoise all waifs and strays in the past, and enjoys nothing more than giving a geriatric straggly cat a lovely home for the last of its days - much to her fiances despair!

Elaine has been qualified for 5 yrs. Her main interests are anaesthesia and wound management.
Outside of work she enjoys walking on Dartmoor, photography and attending to her allotment and garden. At home Elaine has her cat Jem and her leopard gecko called Gertie.

Abi milestone vets

Abi qualified in 2008 from Harper Adams University with a degree in Veterinary Nursing and Practice Management. She then moved to Devon in 2009 were she worked as the Head Nurse in a large animal hospital and joined the Milestone Team in May 2012.  Abi has almost finished a Certificate in Animal Behaviour which is an area of nursing she is really interested in. Outside of work, Abi runs around after her toddler and helps her partner on their sheep farm.

Liza has always had a passion for animals, working from a young age in animal rescue centres and kennels.  Liza qualified as a Veterinary nurse in Reading in 2003.  Her special interests are patient care, working with clients to give their pets the best life possible.  Liza moved back to the Southwest to be close to friends and family.  At home, Liza has a young son who plays rugby for the Exeter Chiefs and her lovely 12 year old ginger cat, Jasmine, that she reared from 3 weeks old.

Emily

Emily started wrong at Milestone in 2013, whilst at Teign School. She is now attending Exeter College and still works part-time. Emily has 2 cats and dogs called Maisie. Emily enjoys working with the animals and particularly likes French bulldogs.

Veterniary Nurse

Kayleigh qualified as a RVN in 2011. She grew up on the beach in Cornwall and she knew she wanted to be a Vet Nurse for as long as she can remember.  Kayleigh spent every spare second volunteering at her local rescue rehabilitating all animals but especially taming and training wild horses.  Kayleigh has an interest in anything cat, especially their behavior and nutrition and has done several courses in feline care. She is often found hand rearing orphan kittens. She has previously worked for a veterinary practice that specialized in "small furries " and Kayleigh intends to further her education in exotic care.  
In her spare time Kayleigh loves riding horses, particularly ones with attitude, and loves cross country.  She lives with her very patient boyfriend and her two beautiful cats, Colin and Hermione.
